Planning
Schedules, resources, and subcontractor coordination.
BuildMacro brings construction planning and daily site work into a shared product. Shiftr designed and developed its user experience and interface.
BuildMacro serves people working in two different settings. Office teams need detailed planning and financial information, while people on a job site need quick access to the next task, update, or document.
The brief called for one consistent product across desktop and mobile, supporting projects with changing schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and communication needs.
The interface had to preserve the depth needed for construction management while staying practical under time pressure. A desktop planning workflow could not simply be squeezed onto a phone. The same information needed a different presentation depending on the device and working context.
Shiftr's UX and interface work connected task management, daily logs, time tracking, financial dashboards, and a central file manager. Adaptive layouts made common actions accessible across desktop and mobile while keeping the wider product experience consistent.
Desktop and mobile experiences were shaped around different work settings. Testing with construction users helped refine navigation and everyday workflows.
The wider product launched as a production-ready SaaS platform. Shiftr’s documented role focused on UX and interface delivery.
